The tributes to the life and work and art of Richard Williams, who died in August 2019, continued with his inclusion in the memoriam at the Oscar ceremony.
The 47th Annie Awards, for recognition within the animation community, were dedicated to Richard Williams. Animator James Baxter and Dick’s daughters, Claire and Holly, spoke at the event.
Dick’s son, Alex Williams, is organizing a tribute evening to be held in London at The Cartoon Museum in Fitzrovia on April 24th.
