Chuck Jones was a consultant early in the film preparation. Of course, he had a proprietary interest in the Warner Bros. characters and did some story work for the ‘Dueling Pianos’ segment. Story development on the ‘Dueling Pianos’ segment was done later by Joe Ranft and Mark Kausler, in conjunction with screenwriters Seaman and Price, at the Amblin campus.
