Ottawa International Animation Festival

The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) was founded in 1975.  It is the largest animation festival in North America.

In 2008, OIAF held a special tribute to Richard Williams to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit.”  The tribute included an on-stage conversation with John Canemaker.  The date was September 20, 2008.

The OIAF held a book signing for ‘Pulling a Rabbit Out of a Hat’ at the Animation Exposé in the Canal Foyer of the National Arts Centre on September 28.
