Trading Pins

Disney has made pinback buttons and cloisonné pins since the earliest Mickey Mouse Club days – and many pins were made at the time of the release of Who framed Roger Rabbit and especially after the costumed Roger Rabbit character came to the theme parks.

Pin trading and the explosion of pins that resulted only started officially in 1999.  Nevertheless, there are many Roger and Jessica pins to be found.  Roger and Jessica have been prominent on seasonal trading pins.

There have been a few pins associated with the early sponsors.

New trading pins are still released, but they tend to be concentrated at milestone anniversaries.

Jessica has always been a popular subject of trading pins – and, of course, where Disney has drawn the line… many counterfeiters are happy to go over.
